Kimberli Ayers
Managing Director since 1994, trained in Business and Organisation Technology which is the successful foundation on which the whole business operates.
Richard Ayers
Started in 1990 and is Senior Technical Consultant and Financial Controller.
A Qualified mechanic and Diagnostic Expert for over 40 years, he oversaw the technical application and quality control in the workshop as well as implementing a new Finance system in 2000.
Tom Davis
Started in 2019 and is Service and Sales Manager.
After qualifying as a mechanic with Mercedes Benz, Tom continued gaining more experience over the next 10 years and moving up the ladder. After working as General Manager for another company, he left to join Ayers Automotive.
Derek Asbury
Started in 2015 as Qualified mechanic and Workshop Manager since 2019.
Derek began his Apprenticeship in Scotland and has 20 years as a technician. His years of experience at Ayers Automotive has made him an Expert Diagnostician in all Land Rovers and Range Rovers models.
Jane Ewen
Started in 2005 as Bookkeeper, Jane is our Accounts Manager and handles everything to do with Accounts and works directly with our Accountant to get all our Financials done each year.
THE STORY OF AYERS AUTOMOTIVE
Kimberli and Richard Ayers are the owners and Directors of Ayers Automotive Pty Ltd, a leading Land Rover and Range Rover Service and Repair Specialist on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.​​
The story of Ayers Automotive started in 1990 when Richard Ayers and Brian Renall created a partnership under the name A. and R. Automotive. When Brian returned to New Zealand in 1994, a new partnership began with Richard and his wife Kim.​
Kim’s knowledge and experience in Organisation and Administration complimented Richard as an Automotive Technician and Diagnostician, and together they made a great team. The business quickly expanded, tripling in size in the first five years and continuing its steady growth since.​
The Directors quickly learned that running a great business is all about creating trusting relationships with people, as well as delivering the highest standard of service and value. When the team is correctly focused on this and not on the financial rewards or money coming in, everybody wins! The customers, the employees and the owners.​
When it comes to the management and staff at Ayers Automotive, a caring and friendly culture which is customer-focused is instilled, as a key part of how they operate. Each team member is trained to be the best he/she can be and continually advancing their knowledge and education is encouraged.

The business is fully automated in that each division is systemised and each staff member trained on that system. This results in a business which runs smoothly, efficiently and profitably in a stress-free environment.

Ayers Automotive was awarded the “Model of Admin Know-How Award” in 2011 and 2012 for excellence in business administration. And have twice won the award for “Outstanding Automotive Servicing” in the Northern Beaches Business Awards and Peninsula Business Awards.
